What is the security deposit?
lawNY.org defines a security deposit as follows;
"A security deposit is money that you pay to your landlord when you move in. Your landlord holds this money until you move out. If you damage the property, or do not pay rent, the landlord can keep the money."
There are three different levels of security deposits here at Ambassador. For people living by themselves in a single (studio or 1 bedroom) the amount is $550.00. For all others the deposit amount is $350 per person. We also require pet deposits for certain pets. That amount is $300.00 with $50 of that being non-refundable. Please note that dogs are not permitted at the apartment complex.
